    Higher Fuel Prices

For what it's worth, Marina regular gasoline in Port Aransas, TX is currently (as of 4/1/22) going for $4.75 - $4.99 gallon. Anyone else want to chime in on their local prices?

What are your Top 3 favorite boat mods or additions you've made?

Cheap & easy....added a Stick it brand 8' anchor pin and motor mounted bracket. We hang at the sandbar a lot and its fast, easy & no anchor mess & fuss. Holds well even in a decent breeze. As I've recounted before, the guy at Stick it said my 225 Tourney was "too heavy & big" for it to work...

    anchor/anger management

The bracket mounts on your outboard and it holds extremely well in sandy bottoms. So easy to deploy & retrieve, and dispenses with anchor hassles & mess. Kind of...

Letitgo....what was the wrong size about it? I have a 225 Tourney & am wondering if it might fit. My beam is 8' and yours is 7.5' Can you link to the place you bought it so I can compare with what they recommend for the 225? Thanks.

    Tournament 225 performance

Jail, Old thread but I just saw this.... I have exactly the same boat / year /motor as you (and 390 hours)and can confirm similar results for speeds. Specifically, I tested last July in Texas on ICW...at 5200 RPM I went 32 MPH. Didn't check for MPG. 2 people on board about 350 lbs. + 3/4 tank...
