    1995 / 2019 Gulfstream 232 for sale - Southern Maine

Hey folks, I haven't posted a whole lot here, so I'm sure I'm a total unknown for any regular users, but I'm putting my 1995 Gulfstream 232 up for sale. The first question you folks will all ask is why? Well, this is our first boat. We bought it in 2017 when our kids were pretty young. We've...

    232 Gulfstream

Metal Man - sorry, haven't logged in here for a long time and just saw this post. SO...the capacity plate on my 232 reads 350HP...so that is why I went with the 175's.

    Sea Dek

Not that I am looking to sell my 232 anytime soon...but...I'm curious as to folks opinions w/r to whether seadek'ing a grady will help or hurt the resale value? I think the stuff looks awesome on the cabin steps and floor...i've seen other pictures where people did the whole...

    232 Gulfstream

For us, loaded down usually means myself, the wife, the 2 kids, enough food and drinks for about 8 years, full tanks of gas (140gal capacity), etc. You will almost always see Yamaha's on GW's...it's a "thing". When I re-powered I couldn't get my hands on any and the yard where we keep the boat...

    232 Gulfstream

100% agree on the twins. For some additional numbers...i've got a '95 232 that I repowered in 2018 with twin Suzuki 175's. I was getting 2.5 mpg the other day while cruising around 28-30mph. WOT is ~45mph with this setup. Previous motors were 2-stroke Yamaha 150's and i was getting 30mpg...

Prop pitch suggestion on 232 Gulfstream

I've got a '95 Gulfstream 232. Recently repowered w/ twin Suzuki 175s. Props are SS 3x16x20. WOT with people and gear on board = 46 MPH. Agree that 225 ponies on a 232 is underpowered. Mine is rated for 350hp, which is why i went w/ the 2x175.

    Fishbox lid for '95 Gulfstream?

Hey all - I've got a 1995 Gulfstream which is obviously nearly impossible to find parts for. In this case, the fishbox lid (starboard) is really banged up. Ideally I'd like to replace it. The livewell lid (port) appears to have been repaired / painted and is in decent shape. I suppose repair...
