When I bought my 87 offshore the first time I took it out with my F150 anything over 50MPH was pure suicidal it swayed so bad. Turns out just had to move the boat forward on trailer to get the weight over axles. Now I can do 70mph no problem.

Interesting since I used on my 87 offshore with bracket to use a 30” shaft zero additional setback and I called the company and they said I was good to go. I have no issues and you can modify it to get the height you need.

My new to me 87 offshore I have owned for about a year know. A few weeks ago I put boat on trailer and removed plug from bracket I got about a couple gallons of ugly water then stuck screwdriver in hole I realized there is a type of foam in the bracket. I let it sit a day or so they closed it up...

the oversized prop was lugging big time the overheat went away after prop switched at the same time I saw the height was low not certain if the height has any effect on temp was jusy asking.. the themostats were replaced before the prop switch no change in overheat condition with thermostat...
