This is a Charter boat...also WAY under powered..

When Grady raised the scuppers on the 265 they also raised the deck I have been told....they also changed the deadrise by 1 degree less which improved the ride, handling of the boat... and in theory would raise the deck as well.

Good luck finding a Good one! I looked at 4 of them in the last 2 years and they All had swollen delaminated Transoms! One had new yamaha 250's and the scuppers were under water...not good and not safe! Maybe with 200 4cyl. motors the scuppers would be ok. The problem is that the aluminum bang...

Yeah that is definitely a typo...it's a 330, there was no 300 with a center helm chair only the 305...and that cabin is a 330 not a 305.

Yes I know and agree...I will probably end up with a Marlin for those reasons...especially since I want the newer Yamaha 4.2 motors over the older 3.3's. I don't mind having to repower an older 265 or 282 but everyone I looked at last year had Transom delamination issues...so a newer Marlin is...

Last summer I ended up buying a beautiful low hour Edgewater 268CC twin Yamaha 4.2L 250HP with only 540 hours...I love the boat but my wife does not...I am looking for a cabin again... Looking for a Grady 265, 282 sailfish or a Marlin. Thanks!

Just got back from Hampton bays and looked at a 265. I really thought this was the one by the photos. I even bought the full amount in $100 dollar bills! She was really showing her age and then some! So much salt corrosion on the hard top aluminum and the top of the fuel tanks. The transom metal...

if your 265 needs a repower that would be fine too as long as the hull is good.

I prefer from 2002 -2005 when they raised the scuppers on the transom for the heavier 4 strokes, thanks.
