how are you going to ensure you dont get any on the gelcoat? it seems that it would be painstakingly slow going through and being OCD about where you get the product and where you dont. ive had pretty good luck just using regular mildew spray, scrub with a soft brush, and rinse right away.

so, at a very quick first glance at the title of this thread, i read "super model location..."

my boatyard was able to detect a leak from a hairline crack in a weld. quality of diagnostic equipment and duration of test will play a big factor.

save yourself some time and have your local boatyard do a pressure test. if there is a leak, they should be able to isolate it to tank, fill, or vent.

by sea or land? if by sea, try Will with Captains Coach. he does yacht delivery professionally (as well as training). As a bonus, he documents everything on a youtube channel so you would get to see the journey as well.

a half-ton can do it just fine. i pull my 27' with a half-ton silverado

have you tried going through Grady? i think they have a decent connection to local groups.

i got mine from Atlantic Coastal Welding in NJ. they did a great job. they do a lot of shipping. when i was there, they had some going to the west coast, and i think one to hawaii

it will be hard to match. the best result would be to have a glass/gel guy mix color and to match your boat as it is now after years of exposure. it may cost a bit more but will provide the best results.

where is your anchor line stored? mine was easily accessed in the anchor locker.

i have the same issue with my Chase on my trailer. the wing on the tab is messing up the end of the wooden bunk. since the wood is taking the damage, i havent worried about it too much, ill just replace the bunks a bit sooner than i would have.
