    Engine flush quick connect

Mine is under the starboard side gunnel and is hard to access. I find it easier to just flush it right at the engine. Also the grommet on the connection to the engine was just cut out for the additional water line in a very unprofessional way. After coming apart many times I spent over an hour...

    Reminder to turn off batteries

The last thing I do before getting off the boat is to put the cover over the helm. I hit the engine trim button to make sure the batteries are off before I button up the cover. I do like the reminder on the electronics cover. I have a label maker and will do that this year when the boat goes in...

    Pop-out gunwale step

I have one on my Fisherman 236 and have never used it. In fact I am thinking of getting rid of it because it blocks my rod storage in the gunnel. Most docks are the right height for easy access on or off the boat anyway.

    Tide Slide

I live and have my boat in Sea Isle City, NJ, just south of you. We have depending on the Moon about a four foot tide difference in the back bay tide. We have sliders and rings attached to the outside pilings and cleats on the docks that go up and down with the tide. If you can’t tie all four...

    Ski Pylon

https://manuals.harborfreight.com/manuals/63000-63999/63880.pdf I do not like to beat dead horses but…… this is the manual for the “$20.00” torque wrench at Harbor Freight. It says “do not use to loosen fasteners“. The torque wrench that my daughter’s boyfriend ruined was much, much more...

    Ski Pylon

Buy a long handle breaker bar, put a hardened 6 point socket on it and go to town. Put a two to three foot pipe on the breaker bar if you want. My daughters boyfriend used my torque wrench to loosen wheel nuts and ruined it. A breaker bar has no ratcheting mechanism ion it and is designed...

Never use a torque wrench to loosen a nut, especially a tight one. Torque wrenches are made for tightening to a certain specification.

Fisherman 236 water under center console.

I have a 2017 Fisherman 236 and I have never encountered that problem. Maybe the drain line from one of the front three compartments has come loose or is leaking? Try putting a hose in the drain of each box and make sure they are draining out the port side and not into the head compartment. Do...

    Grady 236 Questions

I have been on a few 21-23 foot center console boats and the Fisherman 236 is the most versatile. The Carolina Flair keeps you drier and the ride is more comfortable. All the compartments are insulated and can be used as fish boxes when fishing or drinks and food on cruises. With the cushions out...
