    Raymarine E120 fix or replace

Thank you! I looked at some photos of when it was hauled out and I can see the transducer locations. I'll have to pull up a floor hatch cover to access them I think.

    Raymarine E120 fix or replace

The boat is on the hard now up at our cottage so I won't see it for a few months, but I have a question: how would I find the through hull transducer in my 232 Gulfstream? Any idea where it's located and how to access it??

    Raymarine E120 fix or replace

Thank you for the suggestions. My current Raymarine E120 has dual mode transducers as I use 50 and 200 htz views concurrently on the screen beside the chart view for bathymetrics. It is great when it works! In the Pacific Northwest, BC coast where I fish, my depth range is 30-300 ft. I use...

    Raymarine E120 fix or replace

Oh, and btw, I almost never use the radar, but there's a certain peace of mind having it. Detailed nav and bottom charts are a must and I love salmon and ling cod fishing in the PNW, so the very best fish finder is important.

    Raymarine E120 fix or replace

My Raymarine E-120 has become glitchy. On the fishfinder/sounder the screen will just freeze and stop scrolling. I frequently get a "no data source" message. I will also get a "No 3D data available for this location" message. In addition, often the gps will not start working for 30-60 minutes...

Livewell pump runs but it won't fill

New Add bookmark #5 Thank you all for your responses. The valve lever is open when we try to run the pump. No joy. I cannot see and second valve or knob. Any suggestions where I could look for one? The pump itself is secured right behind the valve lever in the bilge area under the transom...

    g berths in a 2008 232 Gulfstream

Sounds like you managed to solve the problem; congratulations! If you have any photos can you share them when you have a chance? I'll be away without internet for the next 5 weeks, so please don't rush on my behalf. Thanks, Paul!

    g berths in a 2008 232 Gulfstream

My brother was just over in Barclay Sound fishing! He had a ton of luck! There's quite a few homes on Texada, but far fewer than most other islands in the Gulf. We're at Cook Bay opposite Bull Passage. Drop me a note if you're passing by and if I'm there I'll buy you a beer (or a glass of...

    g berths in a 2008 232 Gulfstream

I'm in Kelowna, but the boat is on the coast. We have a cottage on Texada Island, opposite Lasqueti Island on Sabine Channel. Do you get up the the frozen north much? And thanks for your help here, Paul. Please do let me know what you get back from the dealer. My dealer in Parksville just...

    g berths in a 2008 232 Gulfstream

If you find out, please let me know. I've hit a stone wall in looking for an answer, other than crafting the infill board myself and having the cushions made up as suggested above.

    g berths in a 2008 232 Gulfstream

My 232 Gulfstream’s cuddy cabin has a bench seat on the starboard side with an upper “bunk” above it, (about 12-14” wide) suspended by straps. The photos for the model show it converting to a fairly tight double berth with the upper bunk filling in the companionway beside the lower bench...

    Carrying a Dinghy

Thank you all so much for your input. I really appreciate your help sorting out my thoughts on this. I think what I'll do is get a small rowboat to keep on the shore at the cabin and maybe carry a light kayak or an inflatable on the Gulfstream for gunkholing. We have a dock up at the cabin on...

    Carrying a Dinghy

My cottage is on the West Coast of British Columbia. When I’m there I’ll be leaving the boat on a mooring bouy and need to get to the beach without getting soaked. The bay is a bit protected but can get waves to 2-3 fr. The dinghy should be able to get my wife and I into shore and be light...

    Carrying a Dinghy

Does anyone have any experience/suggestions for carrying a dinghy on a 232 Gulfstream with twin F150 outboards? Would davits work to hang one behind the motors or would the balance be put way off? Any weight restrictions? Best type of dinghy to use? Thanks!
