Radar installation on 2021 freedom 275

Thank you! I have installed one of these on my previous boat (pursuit 2470wa), so am familiar with the Ethernet cable and adding the rj45 connector after routing the wire. I guess my issue is I’m not certain of how to actually route the wire inside the hardtop tubing terminating in the helm...

Radar installation on 2021 freedom 275

I’m going to add a garmin 18hd radar to my 275. I’m wondering if anyone on here has experience with the wire routing from the hardtop to the helm?

    2021 Freedom 275 Anchor Selection

Dennis, in the test case I mention, I was in only 8ft of water and I had more than 6/7 to 1 scope (as I kept adding to get a bite) maybe more. Sandy bottom (peconic’s). In maybe 10mph wind and there was an ebbing tide to add. so this is why I’m a bit perplexed as my previous boat with a delta...

    2021 Freedom 275 Anchor Selection

I just bought a new to me grady 275 - just used the 'came with' anchor the other day, and found the performance horrible as compared to my last boat (a pursuit 2470 WA). Just really wouldn't bite. Outside of adding more chain rode, does anyone have a recommendation for the best anchor model? I'm...

    Freedom 275 house battery

Ok, the factory caulk is visible and of course Grady off white. Clearly used under the frame and then excess pressed out when attached cleaned up with a finger or caulk tool.

    Freedom 275 house battery

yah, screws in the door frame. I’m sure that’s it, but it’s also sealed to the hull factory caulk. No biggie

While this is an older model, the panel setup is similar in the current model.

    Freedom 275 house battery

So took a closer look at the 275 at the ny boat show today. Curious if anyone here knows the procedure to remove the power panel in that boat. Appears you might have to remove the entire frame. Doesn’t look very serviceable.

    Freedom 275 house battery

Skunk, although adding another battery in parallel to starboard seems like the easiest solution, I’m not sure it will cover the main use cases I worry about. 1) will a motor start cause my electronic to go out and have to be restarted (really annoying). And 2) will something like a stick float...

    Freedom 275 house battery

thank you! This is what I am thinking from a wiring perspective. The next issue is where to install the new switch on the boat given it’s not going to fit into the stock Grady switch panel.. where it can be easily accessed and stay dry

    Freedom 275 house battery

Sorry, it’s twin 200. It has two batteries, no house. I want to add the house to move the electronics et al off the cranking batteries and to help make sure the helm master ex doesn’t have issues after long periods of fishing or whatever. I guess the question really comes down to where to place...

    Freedom 275 house battery

Hello, new Freedom 275 owner here.. yea! Has anyone added a third house battery to this boat? If so, would you mind sharing how you handled the switching for accessories that would be on the third battery? I can see using a blue seas ACR to keep the house charged - but looking for ideas on the...

    Freedom 275 house battery

Thanks - it’s why I’m asking. Seems strange. It’s twin 200 with level 4 helm master ex. irrespective, if it’s some sort of issue, I’d like to at least partially mitigate it by adding a house battery and getting the lights and electronics on the house. Maybe
