I would like to repower my 2004 232 (currently has a Yamaha 225 with 1,700 hrs) with a low hour Yamaha 300. I am concerned about buying a used motor without seeing it run. Does anyone know of a reputable used motor dealer or marketplace? Thanks, Patrick

I am looking at an upgrade from my 2004 257 and I really like the idea of the Skyhook feature for fishing. However, I have heard that the electronic steering can be a lot less reliable than the hydraulic steering. Does anyone have any opinions/insight they can share? Thanks, Patrick

Why are there no hatches in the floor/deck of Grady boats? Can they be added?

I bought a 2004 257 Advance last year in Sarasota. The boat had low hours on the twin 150's (260), but needed some clean up and minor repairs. No trailer. I paid $48,000. I hope that helps.

Thank you. I have the gel coat for that year. How can I tint it to match the color of the boat (slightly faded). Also, is there something I can use to spray the gel coat on to get a smooth finish?

I would like to put some LEDs on the back of my Advance 257 below the water line, but the thought of drilling holes in my transom makes me very nervous. Is there a way to attach lights without drilling? Thanks.

I have an 04 232 and there is a rocker switch which will change the bar gauge from main to aux tank. It takes a minute for the gauge to switch.
