I am looking at an upgrade from my 2004 257 and I really like the idea of the Skyhook feature for fishing. However, I have heard that the electronic steering can be a lot less reliable than the hydraulic steering. Does anyone have any opinions/insight they can share? Thanks, Patrick

I just bought a 2004 Advance 257 with twin yamahas with 250 hours. They ran well during trial, but after a short trip recently they were running rough in the no wake areas (vibration). Any idea what this might be? Suggestions?

I'm shopping for a trailer and one of the guys selling them told me that stainless steel calipers are not worth the extra money because the part that fails is the boot/seal, not the stainless part. It seems to make sense, but I do not have the experience to know. BTW, thank you to all the guys...
