    Appreciate all the input. Windlass was factory installed with appropriate wiring and 35 Amp breaker. I can't find the solenoid. It's not under the dash nor near the windlass. I even looked in the lockers in the V berth. Any ideas where it may be found?

    2005 Marlin with no power to the windlass. Replaced the 35 amp breaker and up/down switch. Windlass is a Simpson Lawrence 600 sprint. My main question is there a solenoid for this windlass. I don't see it on the diagram in the manual from Simpson and can't find one near the windlass or under...

    I have a 2005 Marlin where the port side vent (I think its the fuel vent, mislabeled on the GW owners manual) has broken and corroded. Has anyone ever changed this out. I don't know how to access it unless I go through the wall of the bunk under the cockpit. The vent has a clam shaped appearance.
