    dive tank rack on Marlin

I have the Roll-Control system on my 28' Release in the cockpit area and they work great. SeaSucker is also very good, but extremely expensive. You should only go with those if you do not want to drill holes.

    Water In Fuel alarm

I have a 28' Release that I purchased new in 2007 with 2-250 FS. I got my first "water in fuel" signal after about 10-15 hours. The dealer cleaned the sensors at the engines and cleaned out the fuel tank. I also replaced the Yamaha fuel filters with the Racor filters that have the clear bowl on...

Advice on Electronics for 2008 - 283 Release

I have an 07 283 Release. I installed the 4212 unit and had no problems with it fitting in the electronics box. I choose it over the 5212 series because I did not want the touchscreen version.

    coustom covers

I have the 283 Release and ended up having custom made covers for the console, leaning post and engines. Additionally, I had a "bimini" made for the cockpit area, although it is not a true bimini in that there is no frame, it rolls up and can be stowed when not in use. I also had them make...

    New Yamaha 250--"Water in Fuel"

I have 07 - 28 Release with 250's and just had this problem. The alarm was only on the port engine. The dealer agreed to drain the fuel and thought the problem was from a poor grade of fuel from one of the local marinas. He recommended that I replace the Yamaha fuel filters with Racors which I...

    Teak Cleaner

On my old boat, I used Snappy. It's a 2-part application. The 1st bottle turns the teak black and you scrub it then rinse with water. The 2nd bottle turns the teak golden. After it drys, I used Tip Top Teak oil. It lasted about 3-4 months in full sunlight.

    T-TOP EXTENDER

There is another style you might want to look into. It fits into the rod holders at the t-top or hard top. I don't remember the name, but it looked very durable. I don't think any of these shades should be installed while running, maybe at a slow trolling speed.
