    Nav lights on a 208

I switched to Attwood LED's purchased from Overton's a few years ago. They have a ten year warranty, had one go bad after a couple of years and they replaced it with no hassle. No problems since.

1997 208 Wash down pump not working

On the freshwater pump there is a screen-type filter on the inlet side that gets clogged up with algae, etc. Unscrew it, clean the filter and replace it. Don't know about the saltwater unit.

    Main Engine Fuse

On Monday I was on day three of a great weekend on the water when I suddenly found myself dead in the water about 25 miles from the ramp. I had stopped the boat and turned the engine off for a few minutes so wifey could climb down the swim ladder and cool off. When she got back in the boat I...

Trailer for 2013 GW 208 - Any recommedations?

I replaced my old Venture galvanized roller trailer with one of these 4 years ago and couldn't be more pleased. It comes with Kodiak disc-brakes and LED lights, I added the SS fastener upgrade and haven't had to do fix or replace anything yet. http://loadmastertrailer.com/trailer-mo ... ndem-axle/

Did anyone catch the new type of boat

It seems to me GW is moving further and further away from the WA models they are so well know for. The dealers used to stock most of the WA models and now it's one or none at all. I guess it doesn't really matter much to me though since the ridiculous prices on new boats today + the cost of fuel...

    Why Grady?

I liked the Grady lines dating back early seventies. When the time came for me to buy (2003) I settled on the 20'-21' range and went looking at the different brands/models at the boat show. I kept coming back to the 208 based on those lines, layout and quality. Nearly ten years later I have no...

    GW 208 Bimini Support

I would love to have an option for additional rigid supports that would make it stronger. The Bimini top setup from the factory is so flimsy it's scary. In fact, a few years ago I was cruising down the James River when suddenly and without warning the thumb-screw (one of the two that support the...
