I have a 1993 Marlin, had it 6 yrs, just repowered with 250 yams. Handles like a sport boat, great for family outtings as well as fishing and scuba diving, even did some skiing. Do experience some forward wind drift in close quarters at times, otherwise no regrets.

towing I keep my 28' Marlin on a trailer. Height on trailer is 13.5'. The only time I have trouble is at some gas stations and low hanging trees. I have hauled my boat 200+ miles for special vacations without any troubles crossing many underpasses and draw bridges.

I have recently repowered my 28' marlin with a pair of Yamaha 250 4 strokes, replacing Mariner 225 2 stroke carbs. I was making .6-.75 mpg now I am only getting .8-1 mpg. I was expecting better mileage with the upgrade, any one with similar results? I also need to replace my Phasor genset...
