    Rocket Launcher with Sunshade

The GW performance welding product seems like the best solution. That being said unless your over 6ft tall being able to reach the rods in those holders in any seas is going to be difficult. To reach the center holders on my 305 I have to stand on the livewell or the drink cooler.

    AutoPilot upgrade from manual hydraulic

Mine is attached to the battery switch and the negative goes to the battery. Fortunately, in my boat the pump is on the shelf in rear bilge which is close to the batteries. You don't have that luxury in a 265.

Never had a problem with the shadow drive on my AP. It's a nice feature to have.

Extra rod holders on a Grady White 307 Freedom

You almost have to find a way to put them on the hard top to get them out of the way. If not, the bottom rods will be in the way when trolling and the trolling rods will be in the way bottom fishing. on my boat I added additional clamp on rod holders to the hard top legs. I also added rod...

    265 Express with Bracket

A bracket on a 265 would take away one of the benefits of the boat. By having the engines tucked in tight to the cockpit allows the transom to be much more fishable. Ditch the bracket idea and just slap some 300s on the transom.

    Engine Setup Enquiry - 370 Express, Dual 450hp XTO's

Keep in mind that manufacturers published numbers are very optimistic and do not always mirror real world numbers. They are usually done in perfect conditions, without bottom paint and the boat is very lightly loaded.

    buffer recommendations

For the tough to reach areas I have been using a cordless 90 degree drill with a 3.5 inch ryobi backing plate and a variety of pads. Works great as the smaller pads can get pretty much everywhere. I have a large rotary and a porter cable which work well but there a bunch of places they just...

Replacing batteries on a Marlin 300

Not sure if Yamaha recommends using AGM batteries. Assuming you marlin battery setup is similar to my express, with 2 banks of 2 batteries in parallel. Other options would be, to replace the house bank with 2 deep cycles which should meet yamahas power requirements and be a better house bank...

    Fiberglass repair

What worries me, is if the crack is full thickness, in that location it may be tough to get to the back side to properly repair.

    05 Sailfish transom Concern

Keep looking and be ready to ready to pounce if you find a good one. A good condition at a good price will get picked up immediately. I had 2 boats fail surveys before I found my current boat.

Snap in carpet recommendations for older 225 Tournament

For the last couple of seasons, I have been using a cheap machine washable area rug from Walmart for a cockpit rug. It has a rubber backing like a bathmat and doesn't slip. It folds up and has a bag it goes into. I can transition the boat from a fishing machine to a wine and cheese cruiser in...

    School me on bottom paint

Hydrocoat user also, best bottom paint I have used. very user friendly and cleanup is easy. I use regular hydrocoat for the bottom and hydrocoat eco for the engine brackets and Lower unit. I basically do the water line, transom, and touch up every year.
