2002 330 Express Aft Cabin Portlight

The dome light on my express is a lumitec if that helps. Not sure you can just find a lense. You may need to replace the entire fixture. May also depend on the year of your boat.

?Problem with AGM batteries in new Grady White boats

Before you replace anything you need to check voltage at the batteries and check tHe fuses between the charger and the batteries. This will help you figure out where the problem is.

Handling of a 2015 305 grady with twin 300 yamahas

Same boat, Same engines. Don't use the trim tabs other then for side to side leaning. Make sure the engine is tilted all the way down, throttle up until the boat jumps out of the water. Get your rpms around 4500 or so, then start trimming up with the engines until hit the sweet spot. You...

Did you loose the hinge too? or jus the glass? I had Marine glass specialties make a replacement for my 265. Call around to some of your local Grady dealers too, you may get lucky and they have one in stock.

    Rod holder quality

Funny that the rod holders didn't hold up. My gradys rod holders held up great. They get polished once a year in the spring and that's it. I have not removed a factory rod holder but I have removed a lot of other things on my gradys and nothing has been glued in very well. The rod holders...

    305 express propeller question

My 305 has the same original props. I have thought about playing around with changing props but never went down that rabbit hole. Performance works for me and my use of the boat. So I'm really not a lot of help here.

    Grady Marlin Livewell gas shock

Don't throw out the mounting hardware. Maxum will just provide the strut itself, not any of the hardware. In my case I just used the old mounting hardware as they were in god shape.

    Anyone do Coast Guard registration?

There needs to be a placard permanently mounted somewhere in the boat with the Doc. number. Mine is on a bulkhead. You need the vessel name and hailing port on the transom. I believe that commercial vessels also need the name on either side of the bow. I have never been stopped for not...

    Anyone do Coast Guard registration?

Assume you mean documented. It will probably be required with a boat that size if you get financing for it. My boat is documented but there is no real advantage other then not having to put registration numbers or stickers on it. However you will still need to pay tax on it depending on your...

    Talk me into it..

Go for it. I love my 305. I jumped up from a 265 and don't regret it. it was a few more systems to maintain and a little more for winter storage and of course fuel.

    305 Express vs 300 Marlin

I replied to your same question in the above mentioned thread. This is season 10 for my 305. I had upgraded from a 265. the 305 pretty much does everything better then the 265 except for fuel efficiency and tank size. Where you have to slow down with the 265, you don't have to with the 305. I...

    Refrigerator...

It all depends on your battery setup and what other electronics that you are running with the fridge. I have never had a problem running the fridge on my boats off the battery for a day while fishing.

    Refrigerator...

My boat came with a AC/DC converter for the fridge that runs through the cabin outlet on shore power. As a result the fridge will run on 110v when available or 12v off the dock.

Grady 330 Express vs 300 Marlin

This is season 10 for my 305. I had upgraded from a 265. the 305 pretty much does everything better then the 265 expect for fuel efficiency and tank size. Where you have to slow down with the 265, you don't have to with the 305. I use the boat as a primary fishing boat but it also kind...

    Refrigerator...

Fridges are useful especially if your boat is kept on shore power. You will always have cold beer. Most fridges I have seen on gradys are 12v.

    305 Listing

My 305 naturally lists to port. I have always attributed it to the galley cabinets being on that side. Water tank is in the stern and centered.
