transom i think i'm just going to walk on this one...too many unknowns. the owner said it's been like that since he can remember and that the dealer must have done it when he had it winterized..B.S. the caulking had come off towards the end of the crack , so who knows how much salt water go...

I just looked at a 98 chase , everything lloked great until i got to the transom, it only has a 250 yamaha 2 stroke on it but the transom had cracks on both sides where it connected to the swim platform, the owner put gray caulking in it ..is this common on the 263 chase , i'll try to post pics...
