aft fish box

I have a 2011 330 Express. Has anyone removed this fish box with freezer plates? I am thinking if the box was out of the way it would help to remove the batt, install new transom underwater lights, replace aft bilge pump and run new fuel lines. The box seems to be installed with screws (easy...
