The engine in this boat is a Volvo Penta TAMD 40, and I quickly learning that it will be very expensive to rebuild. I'm also told that, even if successful, I'll be running an obsolete polluter. I'm looking for recommendations for re-powering on a budget, so am open to rebuilds or remanufactures...
