I need to replace the supply hose from the seawater pump to the port side live well. Access to the pump end in the aft bilge is easy, but I cannot find a way to access the baitwell end. I contacted GW for their assistance, but they were unable to provide a solution either. It appears I may need to cut an access hatch, which is fine, but where to cut the access is another question. Again, I contacted GW for their input on the location to create the access, but they have not yet provided a location to create the access. Ideas?

I have a leak I believe is happenin at the same point when the live well is running. Did you consider removing the plate where the raw water wash down and where the drains for the cups are?

The hose is run through a tube from the aft bilge at the pump/seacock to the port side of the bait well. Under the port seat are 2 carpeted covers that can be removed by taking the mounting screws out. You can then access the barbed baitwell inlet connected to the hose. I pulled the new hose in from the bilge to the baitwell. This can be a little difficult as the hose tends to pinch between the bait well and the floor toward the port side when pulling. My son was able to place his foot back in the compartment to guide the hose when pulling to start stop the pinching. Once we found the access, took about an hour to replace the hose. Hope this helps.

What year boat do you have?

06 (Thread Title) - Baitwell behind port passenger seat

Is there any access from the mid cabin side or aft walls?

I have an older model... but just pulled livewell out (port stern) to remove 2 stroke oil reservoirs. I had to pull of the toe rail and remove the small section of "wall" down by the deck. Then it was chop chop with the sawz all for access and removal.
