I am looking at a 2000 180 with a Yamaha 150 Salt Water Series II.

My ramp access is on the shallow Estero river in Florida.

Can someone tell me the draft of this combination? Anyone using a jack plate with success?

Thanks in advance!

that boat floats in 14" of water but you will need at least 22" to putt to a place where you can trim down and punch it...have not seen a jackplate on that combo yet.

I have the same boat, year, model and engine...I agree with DB...under two feet of water, and generally speaking your going to be in trouble. However the 180 is a tank and one of the best boats in its class!!!
