192 Tournament w/Johnson 200 V6 linkage rub

Hey guys, I recently bought a '94 192 Tournament in real nice shape; just noticed a rub on the port side of the motor well where the steering linkage is contacting the fiberglass when the wheel is turned hard to starboard. Anyone aware of an issue I missed??

you could change the steering rod to do less of a turn

Ended up replacing the cable & we're good to go.
