Hello All,
I just got my first boat a Grady white last week and part of the soft top around the door is starts to come apart. I am curious if these soft tops are original to the boat, or if its an aftermarket thing someone did to it. I am really very curious on how I could go about fixing it, should I sent it to someone who has an industrial sowing machine, or try to do it myself, curious everyones thoughts on how I could fix it because it is unraveling and getting worse.

Thanks all excited to be part of the Grady White club,

The canoe threw me off a bit!

If you are referring to the zipper area, it looks like the zipper is OK but its seam to the canvas has pulled apart. That should be resewn with a heavy duty or an industrial sewing machine. Depending on how close the stitching is to the actual zipper teeth, the job may also require a special zipper foot on the sewing machine. Take the rear panels to a canvas shop. It is likely that other areas of stitching might need new stitching.
I don't think that enclosure was original equipment.
