I'm new to this form. I've been looking for a 19-21' cruiser type boat and have found a 1980 20' Overnighter. Have a couple of questions for the Grady White experts before I go look at it and make an offer.
From the photos the wood will need at least refinishing, but the deck and hull look clean an most likely only needs polishing.
On the these boats of 1980 had Grady White stopped using wood stringers and transoms? This may be a novice question, but I'm not wanting to get into a major and costly floor/transom repair.
Thanks in advance,
Randy in Dallas
PS: My plans are to use the boat in Lake Texoma here in N. Texas, but also around Tampa Bay where my daughter and grandchildren live and this boat looks more than capable.
