I bought my overnighter in 1982 in Texas, I used it for about 4-5 years in the gulf and then moved up to Indiana where we boated on Brookville Rs for a few years. I then started my business in 2000 and in 2003 my boat went into the barn where its been ever since. Im 74 years young and a little long in the tooth to be dragging this boat around and trying to launch it by myself. I decided to bring it out of storage, fix what needs fixing and maybe trade it for a small pontoon boat that I can use on a little lake north of my house. The motors run good, even the water pumps seem to be working fine. I need to do a little fix up on the carpet and the interior of the cabin but I can handle that. The question is, can I find a buyer for a boat this old. Its been inside most of its life and I think its sound but I dont know how to check things like transom soundness and fuel tank and other stuff that can go wrong on a boat this old. The trailer looks pretty good even the tires since its been inside a heated storage area most of the time. I know this forum is for Grady White fans so maybe the opinions will be a little slanted but what say you. Should I put a few hours and bucks into fixing the old girl up or should I put it on the side of the road with a sight "Best Offer" ??????
