Friend of mine just bought a '93 252g w/ twin 200's.

I'm hearing through another friend who is VERY boat savy that the boat is difficult to handle when getting on plane unless the engines are pointing directly forward. If the steering wheel is turned slightly to the right the boat will go into a hard right turn?

Anyone ever come accross this? Does it have anything to do with the Grady Bracket?

I have a '91, it never did anything like that with the stock bracket or the hermco bracket. With the stock bracket you either tucked in the motors a little or dealt with the squat but it never went squirrely. Are his tabs the same level on both sides? Is the steering linkage messed/broken? Maybe he has the bow too far down. If the bracket is full of water it'll squat more but it shouldn't be unstable.

It's tough to gather what's happening third hand, take a ride with him to see what's happening.
