I am in the process of re-doing the entire inside cabin cousions and making the three that go over the toilet and span the walk way down below. I have bought all the fabric 11.5 yrds, I hope that enought. Some new foam for the new cousions and monel staples, t-nuts to replace the rusted ones that GW installed on the marine grade plywood. Don't know why it was not SS? New 2 in. webbing for the top bunk, new thread. Need to purchase 4' x 8' marine grade plywood for the two new cousions. I recieved some emails and pictures and measurements from a guy that has a 2000 Gulfstream. I hope they are the same size, if not has any one performed this same build or can get me detailed size and mesurments? Thanks, Joe W

Some tricks I learned on the way.
I had to cut down the foam a 1/2 in. because I did not take in to account the thickness of the plywood. So the cushions looked to poofy, so after I cut them down they are looking great. I think I was pretty smart, I needed to cut the 1/2 in. and I cut the pattern with a electric kitchen knife. So I used that and I took two pieces of 1/2 in. copper pipe and cut a slit in the foam about 7 in. from the side with a serated knife about a 1/2 in deep. Then I stuck the pipe in there and put the other on the out side and ran the knife on top of both pipes. I did that all away around the pattern, and then in the middle I used the knife and keeped it parrallel to the foam I already cut and it turned out great.

Hello All, Here is the final picture of my winter 2007/2008 project. I was a very fun learning from a book and a DVD that I bought for $20.00. I am also working on updating / converting my reat seat from the old 12 screws attachment to a new 5 SS u-clip that I can slip on and off for the winter months. I am also sewing new vinyl roll and pleate and flat in sea white that matched perfect. It was more expensive then chalk, but I did not want to replace the other cushion that did not need it right now. If anyone needs any advice please do not hesitate to PM me or respond to this post. Thanks for giving me this time to show you my new cushions.
Thanks, Joe W.
