98 Sailfish 272 in great condition, however the twin 2009 Yamaha 250s are showing their age ~1500 hours in saltwater (I'm the third owner) and my fun to labor ratio is out of whack in terms of things going wrong. Anyway, had planned to go with replacement Yamahas ($50K), however I just got a quote on new Honda 250s (including all rigging) for $37K, seems like a no-brainer, but have never owned Hondas and don't see a lot of Grady's running them - looking for recommendations.

I dropped intentionally to replace my F300 with other F300 or the new F350 as i had not so good experience with most of my Yamaha's and pricing is far out.
I installed twin BF350 and they are extremely fuel efficient and silent, but i have a Honda Dealership nearby as having a dealership reasonable near is a big advantage.
Honda is the oldest producer of 4 stroke outboards and certainly they know ther business very well, in USA as well as here the lack of a capillar dealer network is a problem what reflects in low sales, but most CG and TowUS use Honda outboards and they put many thousand hours on them, same as many charter boats.
If you have a Honda dealership nearby it would be a no brainer for me to install twin BF250 instead of twin F250, option would be twin DF250 from Suzuki what are great and well priced outboards too.
Check weight difference and if high then you may add some weight in the splashwell to simulate ho much deeper the stern will sink with more heavy outboards, however i believe that a weight difference will not be much and thus not cause issues.
