1st annual New Years day trip on the Grady

On New Years day I headed out to the Bay with my two boys for our first overnighter of the year. Temps were in the 50's with no wind. Fish didnt bite too much, but my son was persitent and got his first sturgeon of the year, a healthy 56"er. Not bad for an 11 year old!

Very cool. Them sturgeon are sure ugly, eh?

Where is pittsburgh, doesn't even come up on googlemaps. Bay area, or delta?
 
Pittsburg (spelled without an h) is on Suisun Bay on the edge of the Delta. Very cool place to keep a boat. I paid 2.94 a gallon for gas last week when the going rate on shore was around 3 bucks! And the best part, I have the bay and golden Gate/Ocean to my west and 2,000 miles of delta to my east. Its not Florida, but I love it! :lol:
