Hi guys:
Well it was in the 40's, windy and there was some pretty snotty chop on the Chesapeake Bay but my wife and I decided to take an 1.5 hour cuise from the Bay Bridge to the town of St Mike's on the Maryland Eastern Shore. It was a pretty darn good ride, but I had a hard time keeping the bow down in the chop. I had the trim tabs all the way down and had to trim the engine way in. I'm not too sure the trim tabs are big enough?? Putting up all the canvas was quite a workout but without it the cruise wouldn't have been so nice. For some reason the plastic cover under the windshield kept coming unsnapped on one side. I wish I could have afforded a bigger engine because my F200 sounded like it was working kind'a hard all trimmed down like that. But it handled the Cheaspeake Bay chop much better than my old Parket 21 deep vee and my wife really enjoyed it because it was so much more comfortable than our old boat. She even used the enclosed head!!! We are going back out tomorrow!!
