Just picked up and 82 228 Seafarer and it is equipped with the original 2.6l OMC Seadrive motor. Just curious to see if anyone out there has any experience with this motor and whether or not it is more cost effective to refresh it or repower. As it sits right now the oil injection pump is shot and it need to be run on premixed fuel. Any info that you guys could provide would be great.
