I have a 2002 Grady White 282 Sailfish. I am repowering with new Yamaha 250 4- strokes. I need any performance information, fuel burn, MPH, prop recommendations etc... as possible. Thanks

You are aware that DF250 Suzukis most likely would do better, use less fuel and cost considerable less?
Not sure about cost of Hondas, but same as above.
Not that the F125/F300 is a bad outboard, there are just better ones.

I have a 2004 Sailfish and repowered from F225s 3.3 L to F250 4.2L. Lot more overall power from the 250 from out of the top , mid range and top end- when I first launch in the spring top end is a around 47 MPH. When I first got the new ones Yamaha was back orderd on props so I uses my 15 1/4 x 19 props from F225 and I could only get about 5000 RPM. When the dealer recommended props came in we changed to SWS 15 1/2 x 17 and got 5900 RPM. I don't regularly check mileage but the few time I I have it was 1.6 to 1.9 range. the serial numbers on the correct props are - good luck the engine have be flawless for 8 years
