2003 Grady Marlin Wiper motor shaft

Hello, i just replaced my starboard wiper motor on my 2003 Grady 2003 Sailfish 282. I got some great advice from this forum and cross referenced the motor to this grainger wiper motor. It fit perfectly. the only challenge was the motor i replaced did not have a wiper "park" feature which the newer one does. You just don't end up having to connect that feature. Also, the degrees of sweep is adjustable on this. It comes as a default at 110 degrees but you need to adjust it to 65 degrees. There are simple instructions to do this on the manufacturers website. Note that Autotex and Wexco are the same company.

I attached a photo of the one that I replaced. PN WWF12C16-1020 but it cross referenced to the 4R2.12.R110D. Also, a trick to getting the wiper blade off is to back off the nut the holds the motor shaft in place enough to just fit the blade of your screwdriver between the nut and the wiper blade. Then you can easily pry it off without scratching your gel coat.

Good luck!
