im looking to install a GARMIN 1042 GPS (12.5 X 7.3) IN THE ELECTRONICS box behind the steering wheel. has any one got something bigger than a 9 inch gps in this location, it looks tight
I put a 840XS in mine,2005 226 Seafarer..Was going to try a 1040XS,but I made a cardboard template and it would not work for me.I thought about cutting the bracket down to get the 1040 to fit but didn't go that way....
