Hello All,
My first post and first Grady
I recently purchased a 2009 306 Bimini. How is the rear bolster pad removed. This bolster pad is above the collapsible aft seat.
Thanks
Mike

I can tell you how my bolsters are attached on my 208.

The bolsters hang on brackets that are screwed to the gunnel . The back plate of the bolster is then screwed to the gunnel to keep them attached and not slide up. The tough part is locating the screws.
On the bottom edge of the bolsters there may be grommets if so, you need to look/feel around for a Philips head screw inside the bolster. Those screws have to be removed through the grommet and when you have all of them out, the bolster will slide up and off. There probably won't be a screw for every grommet so you have to feel around.
When reinstalling, I found that it was next to impossible to get the screws back into the original holes. I had to give up that effort and just re install the screws making new holes. Since that is a good possibility, you may want to seal the old screw holes with 4200 or 5200 or just silicon to keep moisture from weeping into the glass.
