If I have to remove my pulpit due to dock regulations where I am..is there a way I can replace it with an anchor roller therefore still utlizing the windass etc?...does anyone have a photo?

thanks

Kevin

I would assume that the bow pulpit can be removed...it is bolted on but the bow rail is different on the ones without it so you would have to replace all or part of the rail. I have no idea if you can use a power windlass without the bow pulpit...never seen it done. My marina owner charges me for the size of the boat and does not include the bp.

the measurement of the size of a boat seems to differ from marina to marina and manufacturer to manufacturer....I was orignally told they based it on the registration and title...which follows the manufactures paper work...the manufacture doesnt include the PB in their measurements...fun stuff... :bang

the answer...if you are going from a not pulpit boat to a pulpit boat Grady white sells a kit that puts a sleeve in the railing from the first stantion from the bow. Which requires cutting the railing. To remove they sell a shorty piece that will replace the longer pulpit railing which is sleeved for strength..
