I’ve searched the forums on here, but haven’t found exactly what I’m looking for. I wanted to reduce the amount of water I’m getting in the cockpit so I replaced my scupper flappers with 1-⅝” from the marine store (the universal 3 size pack they sell). The 1-⅝”, smallest size I can readily find, is very tight inside the scupper. I haven’t put the boat in the water yet, but washing it the other day, it wasn’t bailing water through the scuppers, the old scupper flappers appear to be 1-½”, which I wasn’t sure if that was because of warping, but now I’m thinking that’s what the 2007 222 was supplied with. Does anyone have any insight?
