24' walk around questions?

Starting to look for a 22-24’ walk around and Grady is on my short list. One prospect is a 1992 with the Grady bracket and a 2001 Yamaha 250 HPDI. Am I correct in assuming that the bracket models might have less problems with wet transoms?
How do I determine the condition of the fuel tank other than pulling an inspection hatch and smelling?
Any other problems to watch out for?

Yes, you are correct that it is less likely, but transom should be thoroughly checked on any model and boat that you may want to purchase. Fuel cells can be pressure tested by experienced persons.
