268 w/ 250 ox66

I have been shopping 268s and the 248s pretty hard the last few months and I usually see them outfitted with twin 200s on the 268 and twin 150s or 225-250 single on the 248s. I have come across another 268 but it powered by a single 250 ox66 2001yr. Is this too little HP? Has anyone been on one powered like this? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, thanks!

I had one like that and traded it for the same hull with twins.......Night and day difference. The twins boat ran with a much better attitude and took the slop way better. Hold out for one with twins.

The price on the single 250 probably looks attractive. When it was new it was substantially cheaper than twins. There's a reason, hold out for twins. Now that I have them I wouldn't consider going back to a single.
