Im looking to repower my 2007 275 tournament and would like to step up to 225 or 250's. Couple of questions:
1. How much additional weight can this boat handle (going from Four Stroke 150's to say Four Stroke 250's)
2. Has anyone re-powered above 200's and if so, thoughts on performance?
3. I noticed the max horse for a 285 was 600hp while the 275 was 400hp. Anybody know why 1 additional foot would allow this big of a jump in horsepower?
Anyway, just looking for a little input from anybody out there who has recently re-powered.
