I pulled the TV out of my 2002 and am considering installing a cabinet in the space. Has anyone made a similar modification? If so, pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks

Bought a new small flat screen to replace the original one. Thinking of trying to hinge to be able to utilize the space better. Have also been searching for pic ideas.

I am going to try and find a local source to manufacture a cabinet to fit in the space. I will post it if I come up with anything.

Thanks for the input, I will contact them. I m hoping to find someone locally that can help with the measurements and design.

It's really just a box. If you know anyone with decent woodworking skills and tools you can fab something yourself. If you buy, I'd go for the drawers with the SS slides. No binding and it is down in the cabin, so you want something nice.

I contacted Boat Outfitters and submitted several photos and dimensions. After review they decided the cover plate was going to be too difficult to be cost effective. They did offer to quote a rectangular box without the cover plate but that would only be half finished.
I am going back to looking for a local shop in the Boca Grande area.

In my 2007 I replaced my Sharp TV with 19” Samsung. Had to change the mount and cut aliitle. Now I can watch my MFD on my TV too.

Thanks for all of the information. The cabinet design in that area is a little different in the 2002 but I think I would end up with a similar result. I am going to reconsider this approach

Thanks again
