I am going to buy a late model bimini . Does anyone know how the boat reacts with the 350s. I read the performance data but was wondering how the boat sits and rides with 1600 lbs on the stern.

I had the 2006 model year with F250's and selling her was the biggest mistake i ever made. She was a beast. I could throw her what ever seas and she could handle that and more. In my opinion that boat is more than enough with 250's, unless you are into racing.

GW has altered the layup schedule for hulls that hold the F350s. They have answered several queries with warnings NOT to use these on hulls that were not designed for them. Weigh distribution is also an issue when moving to such heavy engines.

I also agree the F250s are plenty.

go for it. i think the 350's are spoilers for that boat but you should look at the 360. they look sweet on that backside.

I have the 306 and think 250's is the perfect set up-- I get ~30 knots at 4800rpm and max out at ~36 knots at 5400 rpm (still some upper room on that at 5800 rpm but i dont go there)--Very nice out of the hole and gentle (at least compared to the 330) on the gas consumption---

I would not get the 350's as i think it is too much-- I rarely find conditions where i can get above 30 knots in my fishing areas---
