I have a '92 Johnson 2 stroke carb engine. It does not have a VRO oil injection hooked up. I am thinking of ordering a VRO kit and installing to eliminate the fuel mix or premix fuel purchase. Any comments (pro/con) and experience from the board members. I think that it would be so much nicer just to use the oil separate from the current method.

Thanks!

I agree, keep mixing it , those early 90's are good engines but the vros fail and I dont think they have any systems check.

Going to be expensive, why bother?

Run motor until it dies !

It's value is similar dead or alive!

well, I have the vro system on the exact engine - hasn't died on me (knock on wood) but that said, I would certainly take the advice from the other responces you received.

don't bother with it at this point. It's an old engine, keep mixing the oil....
