I recently purchased a 96 232 equipped with a bracket for single OB and swim platform. It looks as though somebody tried to attaché the platform to the bracket with plywood and 5200. was this typical ? Or, something the previous owner conjured up ?
Another question, the transom cooler/box lids are a little loose. Anybody have any advise for getting a tool behind the boxes to secure a bolt and tighten ? I think I need a real-life stretch Armstrong .. Does the vertical cushion on the rear seat detach and allow access ? :hmm
Great boat. Has 250 Yam four stroke. Cruise at 19-20 kts 11.5-12 gph.
