Ok everybody I don't know if this a a Major concern however I went to look at a 2000 20' Adventure yesterday and saw this chip in the transom. It's at the bottom on the corner of the transom and hull(where they meet). It is hard to see on this photo but it is the size of a nickle-quarter. Is this a major cause for concern? Easy fix?
Thanks All.
John
Look between the bottom of the motor and the ladder.

I have a similar chip in the same place pn our 2001 208. It's about half an inch long located right on the port hull/transom corner about 6 inches down from the rubrail. I was told it was a gelcoat bubble that popped when the mold released?

and....not a "gelcoat" bubble of course, but one in the epoxy barrier under that... ? That was how mine was explained, but it's perfectly placed for a badly aimed forklift. Easy fix.
