My son and I enjoyed our best day of the season last week when we and a couple of other guys took our Bimini 306 (the Yellow Rose) out to the gulf stream just north of Cape Fear. Total catch was 5 wahoo, a dozen or so mahi, three grouper and a bunch of assorted snappers. We've been going out of Crocker's Landing at Wrightsville Beach since we bought our Grady there a couple of months ago -- but moved the boat yesterday to Southport on the other side of Cape Fear where we have a home.
