I had a great time yesterday. It started with a crystal clear sunrise and couple of pictures around my backyard. It finished with fun evening for a great cause at the Coastal Conservation Association of Virginia's 15th Annual Benefit Dinner. This was held at the Colonial Downs Race Track on the outskirts of Richmond Va. in New Kent County. I must say this was a first class event put on by a lot of great CCA members. They had their own Sky Box for the horse races an excellent banquet with bar and tons of items donated and up for raffle or auction. I even won a nice Ande Rod and some Striped Bass jigs. My brother David and his wife Suzanne, along with a good friend Jeff and his wife Irma joined my wife Cynthia and I for the evening. This was our first CCA Banquet and I am sure it will not be our last. I even got up and spoke for a few minutes about Oyster restoration and fishing. Here are a couple pictures from yesterday;
