Has anyone ever added a hot water sysem to there grady?

I am looking to make the boat more liveable for the wife and would like to have hot water. My '93 sailfish has the hot cold spiggots and a shower, but not hot water. I was hoping i could find a propane set up as I dont have shore power either.

Thanks in advance

I was with you and would have made a knowledgeable response, until you got to the propane part.

Run, Forrest, Run.

Never seen an instantaneous, gas on-demand hot water heater on a vessel of that size.

If you don't want to install shore power to heat the water, then I strongly recommend a Sun Shower to meet your wife's need for warm/hot water. They are widely available and work very well - used them for years on sailboats.

my 92 sailfish had a small, maybe 10 gallon hot water heater in it. it was located under an access panel in the bow under the cabin cushions. it was "electric" hooked up to a battery. I ended up taking it out as I didn't need it and the wiring job from the previous owner scared me a bit.
