Another rookie question

Another question regarding the new to me Sailfish... Lot to learn on these boats compared to the 180!

I have an electric head and when I open the seacock on the inlet and turn the switch to the "fill bowl" position, the pump runs but no water comes in. I have to assume somewhere the inlet line is clogged. I don't have a trailer to take her out to look at the inlet, any suggestions on how to address this? Could it be the pump isn't priming properly? I suppose I could close the seacock and take the hose off??

Before I do something stupid, like to get your thoughts.

On my sailfish 1994 there is two seacocks under the deck just outside the Head door. one is the inlet and one the output are both of them open?
