Looking to install an Autopilot system on my 228. The idea of an autopilot on the kicker to allow trolling for salmon easier seems like a great idea to me. Anyone have experience on this. I will be mounting it to a 2021 Suzuki 9.9 efi. I used a tie-bar from the main to the kicker last summer Got the job done but, I'd like to have throttle control from the helm on the kicker. Things being what they are with covid and supply chain issues Kickers with controls were hard to comeby last summer. Any and all experience/feedback welcome.
Anyone have experience with a Garmin reactor 40 kicker autopilot?

Normadic, I have a Furuno AP on my 208, with a T 8 kicker, best mod I have! Have dual controls at the helm for kicker and main with a tie bar.. Have "iTroll" which enables me to dial the speed of the kicker from the helm. Both great mods for salmon fishing. My AP is on the main.
