I have just recently purchased a used 1992 Grady White Explorer and I have been following this forum for a while but this is my first post. While going through the boat I found a small reservoir of some sort under the starboard side in the storage area under the cabin cushions…can anyone tell me what this is and what I need to do to fill it? It appears to be some sort of hydraulic component?

On the left side of unit is a rubber stopper...remove said stopper, find small funnel and fill with atf.

For some reason I cannot see the photo.

Before you add Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) to the Trim Tab pump, make sure both Trim Tabs are in the fully retracted (up) position.
